Dog Walking in Georgetown, TX

Georgetown dogs don't all have the same problem. Some belong to busy families in the new builds off Wolf Ranch. A whole lot of them belong to folks in Sun City who adore their dog and just need a hand getting the daily walk done.

Dog Walking in Sun City and Georgetown's 55+ Community

Sun City is one of the most dog-loving 55 and older communities in Texas, and it's where a good share of our Georgetown work happens.

The reasons people call us here look different from anywhere else we serve. A knee replacement means six weeks of not walking the dog. A shoulder that won't cooperate makes a strong puller genuinely unsafe. And sometimes it's simply August, and a mile in Texas heat isn't a good idea anymore, even though your pup still needs one.

None of that means giving up your dog. It just means somebody else handles the walk while you keep everything else.

We work at your dog's pace, not ours. That includes golf cart traffic on Sun City streets, which we route around rather than fight. If your pup is a senior too, we'll adjust distance and pace to match, and we'll tell you honestly what we notice about their mobility over time.

Where We Walk in Georgetown

Most walks happen in your own neighborhood, on sidewalks and greenbelt paths your dog already knows. Georgetown makes that easy, with 74 parks and more than 22 miles of hike and bike trails across the city.

For pups who want a bigger day, Field Trip Adventures head further out. The San Gabriel River Trail runs paved and shaded from San Gabriel Park along the water, with benches tucked in the shade for a breather. Blue Hole Park sits near the downtown Square under limestone bluffs on a quiet stretch of river. Berry Springs Park and Preserve has trails, open fields, and a pond full of brand new smells. Garey Park sprawls across 525 acres along the South San Gabriel River.
