Many of the newer communities were built with sidewalks and greenbelt connections, so a solid walk doesn't require loading your dog into a car. Familiar routes mean less stress and more of the sniffing that actually wears a dog out.
For pups who want a bigger day, Field Trip Adventures head out to the good stuff. The Brushy Creek Regional Trail runs paved for several miles along the creek with benches scattered throughout and multiple access points, so we can size the outing to your dog instead of the other way around.
Old Settlers Park is one of the largest parks in the area, with wide open green space and walking paths that suit a leashed dog just fine. Creekside Park on Brushy Creek Road has a short all-weather loop.
Shirley McDonald Park sits shaded next to a duck and turtle pond, which is a lot of entertainment for a curious nose.
