Texas Ruff House has been a top-choice in pet care since 2015. We are looking for candidates that can provide a professional level of service to every client, so great communication skills are a must. Our services are in high demand for the summer, including holidays. So the ideal candidate will have flexibility to work 90% of the season. We will provide online education and training in the field of pet care, but also have many growth opportunities in various positions within the company.

Summary:

We're looking for responsible, punctual and attentive individuals to join our pet care team. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys spending time with animals, follows a consistent schedule and has excellent communication skills.

If you are active, enjoy being outdoors, comfortable handling all types of pets, and cleaning up after them, then fill out our application and we will be in touch. This position is seasonal and considered supplemental income. You are paid "per visit", depending on the length of the visit, and earn 100% of tips. Starting rate of $15/hour, including drive-time. On average 1-2 shifts per day, we follow pet routines (feeding, walking, outdoor time). Most part-time team members average $500-1,000 per month during the Summer Season, depending on their availability.

 Requirements:

• Live in or within 5 minutes of our service area: Pflugerville, Round Rock, Hutto, Georgetown.

• Work Mid-May through Mid-August

• Work 1-2 holidays, and available to work 90% of the season.

• Walk any size dog, in all weather conditions, at a brisk pace for 30 minutes.

• Ability to lift/carry 50 pounds.

• Scoop litter and clean pet areas.

• Have your own reliable transportation and clean driving history, proof of insurance is required.

• Available to work consistently 3 weekends per month, and Summer major holidays.

• Experience working in a demanding, detail-oriented environment.

• Be comfortable entering all types of homes with all types of animals.

• Be able to work independently but also be a team player and participate in community events.

Schedule:

• Morning 6am-9am

• Midday 10am-3pm

• Evening 5pm-10pm

• Available to work at least two consistent days per week, including weekends
